Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home

Not sure where to begin with this place except to say "GO SOMEWHERE ELSE", day of the funeral Mr. Welte sat at the back of the funeral home never got up from his chair. We had people go ask him about setting up more chairs in the other room and says "the chairs are right there, you can do it", wait what?? Did we not just pay you to handle our services? Basically we got nothing but a place to hold a funeral and nothing above and beyond that. Secondly, we had some jewelry we wanted to have ashes but into (we gave him everything you would need to seal the jewelry after the ashes where put inside). The jewelry was never sealed, therefore my bracelet come apart and I lost my dad's ashes. How do you get those back you ask? Well I called Mr. Welte and says "you bring in the bracelet and urn I will find someone to help me put more ashes in the bracelet". NO WAY we are not opening a urn for that, he then says "I don't put glue on the jewelry it dries to fast". Ok why did you not tell us that? If you are considering this place DON'T, run run run far away.
