Obituary

Jeffrey Lewis Root, 42, passed away on the morning of July 1, 2017 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife and best friend Lisa Hurwitz, his three loving sons, Nate, Henry and Eli, his dad Don, and his three brothers Mike, Greg and Bill.

Jeff was born on May 6, 1975 to Don and the late Carol Root. He grew up in Oreland, PA where he enjoyed golfing, music, and sarcastically poking fun at people. He graduated from the University of Delaware where he met some of his closest friends. Jeff worked as an Assistant Vice President at Radian Mortgage in Philadelphia prior to his most recent career as a Director of Business Intelligence at New Penn Financial, LLC.

His humor and wit even during the most difficult days kept everyone around him laughing and on their toes. He will be missed by his family, friends and co-workers all.
